Kashimashi Vol. 1: "Overall, this may well be one of the best translation/adaptations I've ever seen. It was a seamless reading experience for this reader of the original version - my highest compliment for a translation."

- Okazu Yuri Blog

"Seven Seas shows some adept translation work in this edition, with a script that's easily readable but also brings out the characters' personalities."

- Anime News Network

Kashimashi Vol. 2: "This part of the story is handled with such remarkable sensitivity that a reader can't help becoming fully involved..."

-Anime News Network

"...The translation and adaptation remain excellent. ...This story actually makes sense in English - not something that is easy to do."

-Okazu Yuri Blog

Kashimashi Vol. 3: "I continue to be both impressed and pleased by the translation and adaptation of this manga. Not only is Seven Seas attempting to capture the feel and sense of the original, but leaving honorifics and cultural relics untranslated, but in this issue I noticed a sincere effort to capture the *voice* of each character. This simply puts this adaptation orders above every other translated manga company out there, except for ALC."

-Okazu Yuri Blog

"Despite the regular comic relief, the storytelling flows along so gracefully that it can be easy to overlook the decided yuri content."

-Anime News Network

Finder Series 1: Target in the Finder: “Be Beautiful has yet to release a manga I didn’t like…or love!” –AnimeFringe.com

- This quote comes from the Wanted! section of the February 2005 issue of Animefringe

Four Immigrants Manga: "[The Four Immigrants Manga] is a great book for lovers of American history and of manga."

- From the Stone Bridge Press blog; original review here

Protoculture Addicts: "Animefringe is talking about the "re-launching" of the magazine as ANN's PA in an article titled "Protoculture Addicts: The Addicts Nip/Tuck". That's a nice article (although it seems the writer didn't know the magazine before). They mention that PA is "North America's oldest anime magazine," that it is the "longest running" and a "long-time indie" anime & manga magazine, but do you realize that, very soon, PA will be coming of age? This November, the magazine will be eighteen year-old and will reach its majority! That makes us the most mature of all the anime magazines! I wish we could celebrate a little more the fact that we survived 'till adulthood... At least we can offer our readers the pledge that we will continue to inform them for several more years."
